MEET ROY

Why I'm Running

For the past six years, I have had the honor of serving the people of Vacaville on the City Council, working every day to put Vacaville first and make decisions that strengthen our community. Throughout my service, I have remained committed to protecting our quality of life, supporting public safety, fostering economic growth, and ensuring our city remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

Today, Vacaville faces important opportunities and challenges. The decisions we make today will shape our city’s future for generations to come. That is why we need experienced leadership that supports local businesses, protects taxpayer dollars, and addresses the challenges ahead with common-sense solutions that reflect the values of our community.

Public safety remains one of my highest priorities. As Mayor, I will continue to advocate for fully staffed, properly funded, and well-equipped police, fire, and emergency response services. Keeping our neighborhoods safe and ensuring our first responders have the resources they need is essential to maintaining the quality of life Vacaville residents deserve.

I also believe that strong leadership requires transparency, accountability, and open communication. Residents deserve a city government that listens, engages, and makes decisions in the best interests of the community. I am committed to fostering public trust through honest dialogue, community engagement, and responsible governance.

A thriving local economy is critical to Vacaville’s success. Our small businesses, entrepreneurs, and employers are the backbone of our community. As Mayor, I will work to create an environment where businesses can grow, create jobs, and invest in Vacaville’s future. By supporting local businesses and encouraging responsible economic development, we can strengthen our economy while preserving the character that makes our city unique.

Preparing for the future also means ensuring our city is resilient. From natural disasters and infrastructure needs to public safety challenges and responsible growth, we must plan proactively and make smart investments that protect both our residents and taxpayer resources.

I remain committed to addressing homelessness with compassion, accountability, and practical solutions that connect people with the services they need while maintaining safe and welcoming neighborhoods for all residents.

Vacaville remains a wonderfully diverse community of backgrounds and viewpoints. One important lesson I have learned over the past few years serving the people of Vacaville is that we don’t all have to agree on every issue to work together and make progress. But we do need leadership that listens respectfully, is accountable and transparent, and works with our community to find common-sense solutions.

Vacaville’s best days are ahead of us. Together, we can strengthen our economy, protect our quality of life, and ensure future generations have the opportunity to succeed right here in Vacaville. I am ready to bring proven leadership, fiscal responsibility, and a clear vision for our city’s future as your next Mayor.

Thank you for visiting my website and for your support. I look forward to working with you to build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Vacaville for generations to come.
